EXTRUSION CAPABILITIES

Three state-of-the-art presses are used to extrude your orders. Our 1400 ton Lowey Hydro Press, our 2000 ton Farrel Press, and our newly installed 2000 ton Ween BHL Press can produce over 30,000,000 pounds of aluminum extrusions annually.

The following alloys are offered at STAR:

General Purpose Alloy 6063
Structural Alloys 6061, 6005, 6105, 6351
Brite Dip Anodized Alloy 6463
T1, T4, T42, T5, T52 and T6

After reviewing your needs, our Engineers go to work on preparing your quote. Utilizing a fully computerized quotation system, we provide fast and accurate quotes. Once your orders are placed, our CAD Engineers will assist you in designing your extrusion. Then, only the finest EDM equipment is used to create your die for the extrusion process.

STAR employees are trained to pay close attention to quality throughout all of our processes in the plant and the office. Our Quality Control foremen conduct spot checks to ensure that you receive the best possible products.

STAR Customer Service representatives monitor the progress of your orders through each stage of the production for pro-active communications of order status.

Clean, orderly packaging and shipping facilities allow us to ensure accuracy and timeliness of your shipments. Be sure to ask about the wide varieties of packaging available to suit your applications. We can even bar code your individual packages for your internal inventory requirements.
